OVERVIEW

France is an extraordinary country with world famous wine brands that very few get to explore in all of its greatness. Get to know the best tastes of France while travelling through the Champagne region famous for its sparkling wine or red wine aromas of remarkable Bordeaux all the way to the spectacular and chic Paris. You will be travelling by private car which will add to the uniqueness of this fantastic French experience.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Paris

Upon your arrival to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport, pick up your car and head to your luxurious hotel to unpack and explore the famous sights of Paris. For experiencing Paris in all its glory we recommend staying at one of the three hotels: Fouquet’s Barrière located in the heart of Paris, just a short stroll from the Champs-Elysées along the elegant Avenue George V; The Peninsula Paris located at 19 Avenue Kléber, just steps from the Arc de Triomphe and La Réserve Paris at the Place du Trocadéro, in the supremely chic 16th arrondissement with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower.

Day 2 - 4: Champagne Region

After breakfast in Paris head for fascinating picturesque rolling hills and vineyards of Champagne region. Our suggestion for your staying is Chateau Les Crayeres, a mythical property in the heart of Reims, nestled discreetly in a seven hectare park full of lush vegetation. This former home of the de Polignac family permanently recreates and modernises the “chateau style” in an atmosphere which is one of elegant sophistication. The warm welcome, impeccable service and Chef Philippe Mille’s gourmet restaurant with its wine list featuring more than 600 champagne labels, make this the ideal place to start discovering all the treasures of this region. For the next day plan a champagne private tour and wine tasting as you'll be visiting the city of Reims and Epernay. Tasting in one of the cellars Pommery or Lanson or Taitinger, including the English speaking guide. Head back to the Chateau Les Crayeres for another night and prepare for trip to Burgundy region tomorrow.

Day 5- 7: Burgundy Region

Burgundy is the famous region of Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes. Drive through miraculous vineyards and cities of this region to your hotel destination. You will be spending two nights in Burgundy and three hotels that we recommend are Chateau Hotel Andre Ziltener, Hotel Le Cep or Abbaye de la Bussiere. On the next day you will have a Burgundy private tour and wine tasting of this region with the English speaking guide. You will be visit to the city of Dijon and taste wine in the Côte de Nuits wine region from Dijon.

Day 7: South Burgundy Region

Rolling green hills dotted with mustard fields and medieval villages that is the charming look of southern part of Burgundy. Burgundy is a paradise for lovers of the great outdoors. We recommend staying at the Chateau De Codignat.This truly exceptional place, just a few kilometres from Clermont-Ferrand, has exquisite guest rooms and an outdoor pool in the middle of nature, surrounded by a wooded park.

Day 8 - 10: Bordeaux

Your next destination is Bordeaux, a port city on the Garonne River in southwestern France. You will be spending 3 night here so that you can have enough time to explore the city and the Bordeaux region. We suggest you to stay at the Grand Hotel De Bordeaux and Spa, the extravagant 5-star hotel in the city center. The wine regions of Bordeaux have more than 100,000 vineyards. On the second day we have arranged for you a Bordeaux private tour and wine tasting. You will be visiting St. Emilion with wine tasting included. Visit the Eglise Monolithe, one of France's largest underground churches, and the 13th century ramparts which encircle the village. You have another day to spend at beautiful city of Bordeaux or you can also visit some of the local vineyards for unique wine tastings. On the 10th day leave your car at Bordeaux airport and check in for your flight back.
