How about enjoying 007 experiences on the top of the world in all his famous exclusivity and luxury? Yes, that is possible in a place 3,048 m above sea level. Welcome to the Ice Q Restaurant whose panorama is spreading above three countries - the Italian dolomites, the German Zugspitze and the diverse Austrian glacier. This is one of the most unique restaurants in the world and its spectacular location was the home of the famous James Bond film SPECTRE.

Let’s begin with arrival. The dazzling two new Gaislachkogl mountain gondolas in Sölden are a perfect blend of fascinating architecture and innovative technology. Reaching 3000 meters altitude in 12 minutes does sound Bondish. Contemporary interior and 360 White Alpine bliss views seem the perfect choice for a SPECTRE filming location. But, when you step outside of the gondola a true excitement awaits at the Ice Q restaurant.

The place became one of the world's most famous hotspots since its opening and its magical location isn’t its only beauty. We must say that its vertigo-inducing floor-to-ceiling windows and futuristic interiors are a major part of its allure.  Be that as it may, this isn’t the most striking detail of the restaurant. At the award-winning ice Q, each course is a work of art. And this isn’t a phrase. With this altitude and harsh weather, it is almost impossible to cook a decent meal. The food has a different taste at 3,048 m and the extreme hight makes the creation of a gourmet dish a difficult task for the chef. Yet, chef Patrick Schnedl succeeded in making food taste perfect even above the clouds. The flavor of the wine has a changed taste and had to be selected by the Ice-Q's sommelier to match the altitude. So, getting an award for truffle linguine is a true work of art. But before you taste the restaurant’s sophisticated dishes one cliche is a must. It’s, of course, a taste of the famous Martini, shaken not stirred. Because let’s face it, a true Bond experience must include a Martini.

When the highest lunch of your life arrives, don’t miss trying the exclusive Pinot 3000 wine. This unusual wine, created by Sölden’s 5-star hotel Das Central combines hand-picked selections of grapes from three countries. Thanks to the special way it is stored, the Pinot Noir has a unique and distinctive taste. Because of the altitude, it takes longer to mature. With the even temperatures above 3000 meters, modified oxygen content and low atmospheric pressure, the wine gains more fruity character. It would be a shame to miss the opportunity to take a sip of this award-winning wine.

Now, it is time to unleash your inner James Bond fan, as next to the restaurant is the ELEMENTS 007. It is the first cinematic installation dedicated to the world of James Bond.

Here, you’ll embark on a journey through a series of high-tech, interactive galleries, the beautiful title sequences, and dramatic scores; the jaw-dropping action sequences; the cars, gadgets, and technology; the breath-taking locations and iconic studio sets and a host of compelling characters. If suddenly you have a call from „M“ don’t worry, the coolest gadgets are yours to use and before you know it you’ll feel ready for the next mission, of course on your ski, all the way down to the village of Sölden.
